The heraldry books says, with its characteristic terminology: "The Biscay families with this lineaje used as arms: on siver field, a sinople (green) thorn, with a sable (black) wolf, walking, with his trunk crossed".

An old ash tray (see bottom)  with arms engraved has four quarters. The first and the fourth quarter have a black wild boar on silver field and the second and the third quarter have a golden flower de luce on azur (blue) field.
